This page contains some links to some useful documents. They are mostly in PDF format; to read or print such files, you will have to download suitable software, such as the free
PDF reader available from Adobe, the inventors of the format. Readers are
available for a variety of different systems, including Windows, Linux and
Solaris. If you already have Acrobat Reader installed on your system (and
chosen the option to integrate it with your web browser), you may be able to
open a PDF document on our web site directly from your web browser, simply by
clicking on the link. However, depending on the security settings on your
machine, you may end up with a blank form or a form with a 'bad image' icon in
the top left hand corner. The safest way of handling PDF documents is to
download the file to your machine, and then open it from there.
If using Internet Explorer to view our web site, you can download a PDF file by right-clicking on the relevant link to the file, and then selecting the 'save target as...' option; you will get the standard dialogue box allowing you to choose where you want the document stored. Other web browsers provide equivalent mechanisms, but the name of the option will vary. Once you have downloaded the file, go to the folder you saved it in, and double-click on the file. This will allow you to view the document on-screen, and from Adobe Acrobat's 'File' menu you will be able to print out the document. |
