Some recent H&DRC resultsReports of club competitions - and of the club's teams in Area and national
events - are published in the club's newsletters; these are available
online. To keep down the bulk of the printed version, the detailed results
are provided separately, on this page (or accessible via links on this page).
Also, 'breaking news' is often put on this page, so that club members do not
have to wait until the next newsletter to see recent results. The results are

Clare Day reports on our Blenheim success:

Congratulations to our team who won the first Eventer Trial format competion at Blenheim! This was a fantastic achievement, as 31 teams from across the country were taking part. The riders, Alex Brookman, Polly Sewell, Sarah Anderson and Kelly Murdoch all rode superbly, and finished with the best score closest to the optimum time. Kelly also had the best individual score of the day.The team was presented with their prizes - rugs, trophies and feed vouchers - by the Duke of Marlborough, Blenheim's owner. Well done, everyone!
We are most grateful to the organisers of the competition, and the Sponsors, Dodson and Horrell.

There was a report about this win in The Hunts Post on 30/09/09; the online version included a copy of the photo with the Duke.

The club had a great time at the Festival of the Hunter. On the Saturday, our senior team came 1st, and also won the 'all 4 scores to count' competition. Our pairs team came second, and individually Amelia came 4th, and Kelly 6th. The next day, our Juniors team came 4th.
Well done to all!

Novice Indoor Show Jumping results - I
am pleased to say that despite several last minute injuries and lamenesses,
three HDRC junior teams competed at the qualifier on the 22 February 2009. The
Red team of Clemmie Higgins, Lisa Warrington, Sophie Wesley and Alice Cuthill
did very well to come 6th and everyone had an enjoyable day. In particular
Verity Hart and Phoebe Benson also jumped very good rounds.
Riding Test
qualifiers: Well done to everyone who took part in this
event - I understand that Huntingdon had the most members of any club competing,
so its great to know people are keen to get involved! Special congratulations to
Hannah Gilbert on Cresta Bay who won both the first and second qualifying rounds
and so will be riding at the championships at the Royal Windsor Horse
Show.
